Cozy and Comfortable

The lodge itself is nice, with comfortable mattresses and fluffy pillows that made our stay enjoyable. I loved having a nice balcony overlooking the trees, although the view wasn't as advertised. Cleanliness was definitely a highlight here!

Fantastic Pizza

Even though the lodge restaurant had limited hours during our visit, we were thrilled to enjoy Tyler's Pizza, which was delivered right to our room. It was the perfect end to a day of adventure in the park.

Amazing Cave Tours

The cave tours, especially the Ghost and Legends lantern tour of the Saltpeter Cave, were a truly unique experience! It was easy to sign up for tours, and our guide did an very nice job sharing the history and interesting features of the caves.

Beautiful Hiking Trails

We loved exploring the 3-Bridge trail! The scenery was amazing, and it was a fantastic way to spend time outdoors. I do wish there were distance markers along the trail to help keep track of our time, but it was still a nice hike.

We had a fantastic experience during our Cascade waterfall tour, thanks to our guide, Brandon, who was knowledgeable and friendly. The lodge is nestled in a beautiful park, making it a perfect family-friendly destination for outdoor adventures. However, the room we stayed in was quite dated and had some maintenance issues that detracted from our overall comfort. While the dining experience at the attached restaurant was passable, the service on a busy day left a lot to be desired.

We had a fantastic experience at Carter Caves, especially enjoying Michael Griffin's illusionist show and the accompanying dinner buffet. The food was delicious, and the organization of the evening was top-notch. However, our stay at the lodge wasn't without its drawbacks—some areas felt dated and the beds were quite uncomfortable, which affected our overall rest. The location is excellent for those looking to explore nature, but a few updates would really enhance the experience.
